Goldenrod + Henderson's Checkermallow + Douglas Spirea

$20.00
100 available

One plant each for a bundle of three native plants that bloom late in the season — save $8 off the individual prices. These all provide pollen and nectar from late summer into fall, when most plants have stopped blooming. These plants attract and feed native bees, butterflies, moths, hummingbirds, bats, and more. The seeds will feed birds and other critters into the winter. All three varieties will need supplemental water in hot dry summers.

  • 1 Solidago canadensis (Western Canada goldenrod) — Pollinator powerhouse, bright yellow flowers through summer into fall, up to 6 feet tall. One of the best native plants for wildlife.

  • 1 Sidalcea Hendersonii (Henderson's checkermallow) — a viorgous multi-stemmed upright perennial 2-3 feet tall with many pink-magenta hollyhock-like flowers — beautiful! Attracts hummingbirds, butterflies, native bees, and other pollinators.

  • 1 Spiraea douglasii (Douglas Spirea) — small shrub 3-6 feet tall and wide. It has spires of feathery purple-pink flowers that turn into interesting seed pods. Great pollinator plant, and winter seeds attract birds.

See the individual plant listings for more information. These are all in 1-gallon pots or equivalent size treepots.
